F.A.I.R. 4 OHIO

Fair Animal Industry Regulations

For Ohio

Fair Animal Industry Regulations (F.A.I.R) is an organization with a mission to fight any legislation that unfairly regulates or prohibits the ownership of any animal. We support fair regulations and the responsible ownership of all animals and we will work to advance animal husbandry practices through education.

As you know, there was a House bill introduced by Mr. G. Distel,HB45, which proposes to create a registration and unfair regulations for the ownership of wild and exotic animals.  This bill is currently in the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee.  This is an Animal Rights extremists’ bill supported by PETA, The Humane Society of the United states (HSUS) and the Animal Protection Institute (API).  All of these organizations, who are not stakeholders in this type of legislation, are animal rights groups who have an agenda to end all human/animal interaction including the use of animals for food, fiber, research, and companionship.

The members of FAIR 4 Ohio, who are animal owners and stakeholders in this type of legislation, would like to explain to you some of our concerns about this bill and also ask you to please read the information we have provided about the animal rights extremists’ movement.  We want you to understand their true goal by supporting Mr. Distel’s HB 45.
